An Aurelius smoke shop will have its state tobacco retail license suspended for one year and be forced to pay a $133,000 fine for violating New York’s laws on selling tobacco products to children under the age of 18 and for also selling flavored vaping products.
The penalties approved by the Cayuga County Board of Health also include a six-month suspension of Panda Smoke and Vape’s local license.
The Citizen reports Auburn Express Smoke Shop and Auburn Express Smoke Shop Junior were also fined and will have their licenses suspended for a period of time.
