Boil Water Advisory Issued for Town of Genoa

A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for the Town of Genoa.

According to the Cayuga County Health Department, on Friday, a section of the town’s water system lost pressure due to a water main break. When this happens, there is a possibility that untreated water and harmful microbes can enter the water system.

The advisory is anticipated to remain in place for the next few days.
