Luanna B. Day, 94, formerly of Lower Lake Road passed away January 5, 2019 at Huntington Living Center.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday (January 15) at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc., 32 State St., Seneca Falls with a memorial service following at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Leah Ntuala pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls officiating. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery at Somerset, Pa. at the convenience of the family.

Luanna was born in Williamsport, Pa. the daughter of Frederick and Anna Ramsey Brown. Graduated from South Williamsport High School. She married Homer E. Day on February 19, 1947. They moved to Brookville and then to Seneca Falls in 1964. She worked for several years at Phillips-Sylvania retiring in 1989. She worked and volunteered at Women’s Hall of Fame for many years and enjoyed the contact with many visitors and staff. Served as Elder on Session at the First Presbyterian Church. A member of Quarter Century Club of GTE/Sylvania. Always looked forward to seeing and helping with her grandchildren.
Survived by sons Brian Day of Seneca Falls and Michael(Jan) Day of Vt.; grandchildren Matt DelCano, Terri (Don) Williams, Andrea (Joel) Silverman and Mary Beth (David) Guist Day.
Predeceased by her husband, Homer E. Day and a daughter, Patricia.
