Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension has started its annual enrollment for commercial agriculture and subscribes to three regional teams: the Northwest New York Dairy, Livestock and Field Crops Team, the Cornell Vegetable Program, and the Finger Lakes Grape Program. By enrolling through Seneca County CCE farmers and growers can subscribe at a reduced rate to receive newsletters, consultations and specialized expertise of the regional team members. While Seneca County CCE does not subscribe to the Lake Ontario Fruit Program, growers can enroll for an additional fee. Our goal is to assist you to be successful in your agricultural enterprise.
Many of the 2019 Cornell Guidelines are available to order through Seneca County CCE; orders and full payment must be post marked February 15, 2019 and will be available March 1st. These Guidelines offer the latest information on many topics including pest management, crop production and landscape maintenance. Prices vary and they can be either mailed for a small fee or picked up in the office during regular business hours. Online access versions are also available but need to be ordered directly from the Cornell website which we are able to provide you by calling the office. Some have found advantages to having both the print and online versions. Should you decide to select both the Cornell website allows you to select a bundle option (Print and Online) for a reduced price.
