Thomas Eugene Davis, 68, of West Bayard St passed away on Saturday (January 5, 2019) at Strong Memorial Hospital with his daughter Crissy by his side after a brief illness with cancer.
There will be no prior calling hours or funeral Per Tom’s wishes. The family would like to invite all to join us for a Memorial Reception on Saturday (January 12, 2019) at 2 p.m. at the Romulus Fire Dept, 2010 Cayuga St, Romulus, to celebrate Tom’s Life.
Tom was born in Binghamton, N.Y. on July 27, 1950, the son of Earl Henry Davis and Catherine Rhoda Green. He was a lifelong truck driver while living in Florida and Texas. On his return to Seneca Falls he worked side by side with two of his sons, Robert and Joseph, doing carpentry work until he became ill. Tom had a love for his family, country music and working with his sons. In his younger years you would find him at any country jamboree.
Tom is survived by sons Thomas (Tina) Davis and Joseph Davis both of Seneca Falls and Robert (Laurie) Davis of Border City; daughters Lori (Daryl Morrell) Bennett of Romulus and Crissy (Fred Lloyd) of Brockport; brothers Earl Davis of Waterloo, Robert Davis of Border City, Charles Davis Sr of Texas; sisters Roberta White of Seneca Falls, Rebecca Spencer of Geneva; 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by brother, Richard; sister, Mary; and great-grandbaby, Riley Grace who passed away at birth.
