The Auburn Planning Board meets Wednesday evening to review the plan for the proposed Prison City Pub and Brewery production facility and restaurant.
Prison City owners Dawn and Marc Shulz want to build the 20 thousand square foot facility on the vacant 2.1 acre site on the corner of North Street and Standart Avenue that was the former home of Jam-O’s Car Wash.
The site plan presented to the planning board features a main building that includes a tasting room and restaurant, along with bottling and canning lines and beer aging equipment in the production area. The plan also includes an outdoor seating and entertainment courtyard along with a second building that will be used to pre-treat water for the brewing process.
The meeting will get underway at 6:30 in the Auburn City Council chamber.
