On December 26, State Troopers arrested two Auburn women on drug possession charges following a traffic stop on the Arterial.
29-year old Kristine Soto was investigated when she failed to use a signal when she stopped her vehicle in the road on Arterial East.
Both Soto and her passenger, 35-year old Jacqueline DeAngelis, were allegedly found to be in possession of MDMA.
Soto was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance and was also charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, stopping on a highway and having an insufficient turn signal. She was arraigned in the City of Auburn Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail on no bail pending an appearance on Thursday.
DeAngelis was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Auburn Court on January 11, 2019.
