A 14-year-old Waterloo Central School student is accused of making threats toward the school and fellow students.
Waterloo Police say they received the report Thursday afternoon and quickly identified the suspect, and also say there was no danger to those involved in the threat.
The 14-year-old is charged with Making a Terroristic Threat, and will appear in Seneca County Family Court.
On Thursday 12/6/2018 at about 2:17pm the Waterloo Police Dept. investigated the report of a potential threat made to Waterloo Central School District students and school.
With swift efforts and cooperation between the Waterloo Police Dept. and school officials, a thorough investigation identified a 14 year old student had made the threat and there was never any danger to students and staff in the school district.
The 14 year old was arrested and petitioned into Seneca County Family Court for “Making a Terroristic Threat”, which is a NYS Penal Law Class D Felony.
