Just like the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” when George and Mary Baily welcome a family to their new home.
That was the four living actors from the movie “It a Wonderful Life”: Karolyn Grimes (Zuzu in the movie), Carol Coombs (Janie-the piano player), Jeanine Roose (Young Violet), and Jimmy Hawkins (Tommy Bailey).
They acted out the scene form the movie at a Habitat for Humanity home in Waterloo, the 24th habitat home built in Seneca County. The annual Wonderful Life Festival is underway in Seneca Falls, the the town that many believe is the real Bedford Falls from the film starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.
Film director Frank Capra once visited Seneca Falls. Besides the four actors, Donna Reed’s son and daughter will speak in Seneca Falls along with Frank Capra’s granddaughter this weekend.
