Congressman Tom Reed delivered a $684,000 grant to provide funding to develop a new water district in the town of Torrey.
“We care about ensuring our rural communities have fair access to a clean and safe water supply,” Reed said. “We are thrilled to be able to secure this grant for the town of Torrey so they can build a new water district and boost jobs in our community.”
“After many years of diligent work by George Thompson our first water district is going to happen”, Patrick Flynn, Torrey Town Supervisor said.
