A debate on a proposed solar farm in Farmington continued Wednesday night, as more than 100 people attended a planning board meeting calling on the town to deny the construction.
The solar farm would cover 35 acres of current farm land. Delaware River Solar says it would power 1,200 local homes, and would allow livestock to remain on the land. Some neighbors are worried about their home and property values.
They also fear this could open the door for more solar farms to be built on local farmland.
