A Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy was injured in a three-car accident that occurred Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Route 31 and Canandaigua Road in Macedon.
The unidentified deputy was en route to an emergency call and had his emergency lights and siren activated when his car was struck by a vehicle driven by Geoffrey Warren, of Fairport. The patrol car then struck a vehicle, which was stopped on the south side of the intersection. The deputy was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and was released.
