Lewis M. Kayes Jr., 86, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2018.
Mickey was born in Geneva, N.Y. in 1932 and married Maxine Baroody also from Geneva. He attended De Sales High School and Lemoyne College in Syracuse. He worked for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company for decades.
Mickey is survived by three children Kelly Hunt of Penfield, N.Y., Mike Kayes and Mary Lynn of Davidson, N.C. and Tim Kayes of Fairport, N.Y. He had eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter in Nashville, Tenn.
Mickey loved Golf, Ireland and a good beer. In his later years he spent time taking care of his elderly parents in Hollywood.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to Kathleen Kiley, his longtime friend and companion for her loyal support and comfort helping Mickey over the last several decades. He could not have lived as well without her help. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
