The murder trial of Emerson “John” Tohafjian is delayed one week because of a lack of jurors.
Jury selection started Friday and continued Monday until the list of potential jurors had been gone through. The process will resume December 10th. Prosecutors say Tohafjian shot and and killed Lori McConnell and Charlie Andrus on July 10th, while wounding Karen Zdunko in the attack.
Last week, Tohafjian was charged rape, unlawful imprisonment and animal cruelty for an alleged incident that occurred June 19th in Fayette with McConnell. He will answer those charges in February.
