G.W. Lisk is seeking the state’s help in cleaning up environmental contamination at its Clifton Springs site.
The Finger Lakes Times reports the company has applied to the state Department of Environmental Conservation’s Brownfield Cleanup Program.
Trichloroethylene and assorted heavy metals have been found in groundwater where the South Street site borders Clifton Springs Hospital.
Copies of the application and other related documents are available at the Clifton Springs Public Library, and the DEC is seeking public comment on the plan until December 21st.
