A Geneva woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after she inadvertently sprayed a two-year old with pepper spray.
Taneia Godbolt’s arrest stems from the investigation into a disturbance that occurred at a Gorham Street residence in Canandaigua on November 10th. 22 year old Carolyn Godbolt, of Canandaigua, is accused of entering her neighbor’s apartment and initiating a physical altercation with the female resident. After the fight, its alleged Taneia Godbelt sprayed the same victim with pepper spray, which reached a nearby child.
In addition to endangering the welfare of a child, Taneia Godbolt is also charged with unlawful possession of noxious materials. Carolyn Godbolt was charged with harassment and criminal trespass.
