The opening of the Equal Rights Heritage has been set.
The City of Auburn announced on Thursday the opening ceremony will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 am. City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News they are waiting on word on who will attending the ceremony.
Mason added there is still some work that needs to be completed, and the weather could slow that work down.
The final coating of asphalt on Lincoln and William Streets won’t be put down until next spring.
The city will keep the free parking on the upper levels of the downtown parking garage through the end of the month.
