On November 4, State Troopers arrested 38-year old Andrew Barrett of Brushton, New York for felony driving while intoxicated (previous conviction within ten years), felony aggravated driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana.
While on patrol, Troopers observed a suspicious vehicle on North Seneca Street in the Village of Weedsport. Barrett was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests. He was also found in possession of marijuana.
Barrett was transported to the Auburn barracks, where he provided a breath sample of .20. He was arraigned in the Village of Weedsport Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail. Barrett is scheduled to appear in court on November 8.
