Sheryl Taylor Baker passed away at The Commons on St. Anthony in Auburn on Sunday (November 4, 2018) at the age of 71.
The family will be present to receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday (November 9, 2018) at Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4 p.m., at the funeral home. A reception will immediately follow at the American Legion in Trumansburg.
Sheryl was born in Sayre, Pennsylvania on February 24, 1947, a daughter of the late Ward and Dorothy (Scofield) Rose. She worked for UPS as a delivery driver for over 20 years. Sheryl loved being a part of anything social and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Her outgoing, fun, and loving spirit will be missed by all her family and friends.
Sheryl is survived by her five children Michael (Jeannette Palmer) Covert, Amie (Ivan) Jaramillo, Laurie (Lee) Dresser, Shelly (Rodney) Winkleblack, and Laurie Taylor; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers Gary, Jerry, David, and Dale Rose; and two sisters Carol Russell and Sharon Sitar.
