John P. McFall, 68, of Jensen Beach, FL, formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday (October 27, 2018) unexpectedly at his home.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday (Nov. 12) at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Waterloo, N.Y.. Rev. Jeffrey Haugaard, rector of the church, will officiate. Inurnment will be at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Columbarium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 101 E. Williams St., Waterloo, NY, 13165 or Beverly’s Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165.
John was born on Feb. 7, 1950, in Waterloo, NY, the son of Oliver J. and June Sorensen McFall. He was 1968 graduate of Waterloo High School. He attended Syracuse University College of Forestry. John was a quality control engineer for various construction sites.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Patrick (Holly) McFall of Palm City, FL. and Robert (Katie) McFall of Rochester, N.Y.; one granddaughter, Paisley; two stepsons, Zane Rich and Morgan (Shannon) Rechboth of Stuart, FL; step-grandson, Connor; his mother, June Pontius of Waterloo, NY; sister, Christine Bergman of Penn Yan, NY; stepbrothers, John (Andrea) Pontius of Oneonta, NY, Peter (Ann) Pontius of Waterloo, NY; stepsister, Nancy Pontius of Syracuse, NY; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased his father, Oliver J. McFall and stepfather, John “Jack” M. Pontius.
