A Bath man has been arrested in connection with the alleged passing of a fake $100 bill at a Bath gas station.
Troopers say 25-year-old Charles Robenolt sued “motion picture money” to buy crack from an Elmira woman back in April.
The woman, 26-year-old Ashley Hamilton, then allegedly used the bill at Kwik Fill on State Route 415.
Robenolt was arrested on Halloween after a brief foot chase and charged with 1st-degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.
Robenolt is being held without bail at the Steuben County Jail.
Hamilton was arrested for her alleged role in August, and was extradited to New Jersey to face prosecution there.
