Seneca County has begun a formal search for its next county manager.
The county has posted the vacancy on its website. The job became vacant following the Sept. 4 resignation of John Sheppard. The starting salary of $85,000 is negotiable and based on qualifications.
The county manager is responsible for management of all county affairs, preparation and administration of a $65 million budget, and supervision of county departments and a workforce of 345 full-time and 160 part-time employees.
