In advance of a “Water Quality Roundtable” hosted by Senator Tom O’Mara and Senator Pam Helming at Starkey’s Lookout in Dundee on October 24th, O’Mara and Assemblyman Phil Palmesano took the occasion to pay tribute to the Centennial of the Yates County Farm Bureau.
The lawmakers presented a legislative proclamation honoring the milestone to Yates County Farm Bureau President Larry Lewis.
“Our local Farm Bureaus and local Cornell Cooperative Extension agencies continue to do outstanding work to strengthen our family farms and local communities. The 100th Anniversary of the Yates County Farm Bureau is an outstanding milestone and we appreciated this opportunity to honor it and help celebrate 100 years of achievement and advocacy,” O’Mara and Palmesano said in a joint statement.
