According to a report just released by the Department of Higher Education, Cornell University had the most reported sexual assault and domestic violence reports among college campus in the first five months of this year.
Under the state’s “Enough is Enough” law, schools are required to report all incidents reported to their Title IX offices, including sexual assaults, stalking, dating and domestic violence. Cornell reported 199 incidents over the first five months, 22 of which, were reported to law enforcement. Hobart and William Smith Colleges is 22nd on the list for having 18 total incidents, and two were turned over to police. Ithaca College placed 13th in the last for 28 total incidents and only one incident was reported to police.
Keuka College or any local community college did not appear on the list.
