State Assembly candidate Keith Batman announced Tuesday he has received an endorsement from Senator Chuck Schumer.
In a news release, Schumer said, “Having had the pleasure of working with Keith Batman when he served as Chairman of the Cayuga County Legislature, I know he truly represents the values of Central New York and will do a wonderful job in the Assembly advocating for the communities he loves said Senator Schumer. “His integrity and dedication to public service make him an ideal candidate, and I’m happy to endorse him.”
“Senator Schumer has diligently served all New Yorkers and delivered real results,” said Batman. “I look forward to working with him to improve the lives of each and every resident of the 126th Assembly District.”
The 126th Assembly District includes parts of Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland and Onondaga counties.
Batman’s platform includes fighting Albany corruption, cutting taxes, creating more good-paying jobs in our communities and protecting our environment and drinking water.
