Seneca Falls will hold its final scheduled budget workshop Monday afternoon.
Fingerlakes1.com reports Town Supervisor Greg Lazzaro walked out of the last workshop earlier this month, apparently angry with board resistance to his proposed spending cuts.
Lazzaro has recommended cutting 4 police officers and selling Vince’s Park, among other measures, as he seeks to take the sting out of what was originally a proposed 50% tax hike to $9.19 per thousand dollars assessed value.
The workshop is set for 3:30 at the Ovid Street municipal building.
A public hearing will be held at the November 7th board meeting.
