Dorothy R. DiLeo, 92, passed away on Wednesday (October 17, 2018) at the Newark Wayne Community Hospital.
Friends may call on Sunday (October 21) from 2 to 5 p.m. at Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St. in Clyde. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday (October 22) at 11 a.m. At St. Joseph the Worker, St. John’s Church on Sodus St. in Clyde. Entombment will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Clyde.

Dorothy was born on February 4, 1926 in Clyde the daughter of the late Fred and Emma DeJohn Petrosino. She married Nicholas DiLeo 66 years ago on September 1, 1952. She was a homemaker but also worked at General Electric, Clyde Knitting Mill and Hickock’s Belt Co. in Lyons. Dorothy was a communicant of St. Joseph the Worker.
Mrs. DiLeo leaves behind her loving husband of 66 years, Nicholas; she was the loving mother of Marlene (Jeffrey) Bergstresser of Penn Yan; an attentive grandmother to Richard T. (Jason Bishop) Basler and Kristin (Jim) Burch; and an attentive great-grandmother to Aaron Burch and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy joined her three sisters Anna Salerno, Louise Salerno, Flora Storto; and three brothers Anthony Petrosino, Fred Petrosino, Louis “Jeff” Petrosino.
