The Geneva man already serving a prison sentence of 40 years to life after being convicted of murder earlier this year has been sentenced to seven more years in prison.
In August, Willie McKoy, Junior, was found guilty of felony assault for beating another man while they were inmates at the Ontario County Jail. The victim suffered a broken nose and significant visual impediments.
McKoy was convicted for the December 2017 murder of Pliekou Irvin, Senior, in Geneva.
He is serving his sentence at the Attica Correctional Facility.
