One of the four people charged in the death of a 52 year old Wayne County woman was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison Thursday.
As part of the plea he accepted in August, Knowledge Couser waived his right to an appeal. Couser was dating Julie Martin’s daughter, Jasmine Harlee, of Sodus, at the time of Martin’s murder. Martin’s body was found inside a mobile home on Jonathan Lane in Ontario last February 1st. Harlee pleaded guilty in July to planning her mom’s murder in a plot to collect on a 30-THOUSAND dollar life insurance policy.
One of the two other suspects, 19 year old Malquan Drayton, of Pittsford, was also sentenced to 11 years in prison for a robbery charge he faced in connection to Martin’s murder.
