The Presidents of Cayuga Community College and LeMoyne College on Wednesday signed a formal agreement that establishes enhanced opportunities for CCC students to further their education at the Syracuse liberal arts school.
The agreement will allow Cayuga students who graduate from one of twelve Associate of Science or Associate of Arts programs to enroll in Bachelor programs at LeMoyne.
CCC President Dr. Brian Durant tells Finger Lakes News Radio the agreement will make the process a seamless transition.
Dr. Linda LeMura says Cayuga contributes the second largest number of transfer students coming to LeMoyne College.
In addition to the agreement, LeMoyne announced the Transfer Promise, a scholarship and career readiness program that will provide transfer students with an automatic scholarship of $2,500 per academic year to a maximum of $8,750 over 3 1/2 years, connecting with a mentor and a LeMoyne alum and on-time graduation.
