Rochester Police say a man tried to kill his entire family Wednesday morning. Three people were shot, one of them was killed. A police chase through city streets ended with a shootout between the suspect and police. The suspect, 39-year old Terrell Blake died in the shotout with police. Blake shot the mother of his son, killing her. He wounded another man, and then wounded his son. Blake’s son ran to a nearby school where he collapsed. That forced Rochester schools to go into a lockout until the chase was over.

An investigation into two separate shootings scenes in Rochester this morning ended with a massive police chase with the suspect being shot.
The suspect shot allegedly shot a family member at a Rochester City School and then lead police on a chase as he drove a U-Haul van.
Rochester Police confirmed that the suspect has died after being shot, but did not say whether the suspect had been shot by police or the gunshot was self inflicted.
More information is expected later this afternoon.
