A Baltimore, Maryland woman was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester Monday morning after being involved in a two car accident at the intersection of the Lakemont-Himrod and Dundee-Starkey Roads.
67 year old Sonia Socha was traveling south on Lakemont-Himrod when she failed to yield the right of way to 72 year old Kenneth Stanton, of Dundee, who was traveling east on Dundee-Starkey. Both vehicles collided, with the Socha car leaving the east side of the roadway and striking a large amount of shrubbery, causing the car to go airborne and overturn. Her car then struck a parked vehicle owned by 30 year old Derek Ayers, of Dundee.
Socha suffered an apparent back injury as a result of the collision.
