It’s a phrase many people associate with Law Enforcement, but of late, for the Chamber it’s been more about sharing informed opinions.
Last week, I had the privilege to speak on behalf of the Chamber, at a Senate hearing on the State’s Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprise program. Several of our member businesses have ‘seen something’ – issues and shortcomings about the program – and armed with their insights, I was able to ‘say something’ about ponderous regulations.
Today, I am part of a Roadway Safety Audit of Main Street, hosted by the Genesee Transportation Council. Given that our Tourist Information Center is in the heart of downtown, visitors and residents frequently ‘see something’ – concerns regarding pedestrian and motorist safety. Today I will be able to ‘say something’ about driver and pedestrian safety.
So I invite you, as a member of the Chamber, if you ‘see something’ that you think we as a Chamber could do differently or better, ‘say something’. There are many ways to do it – committee service, event participation, board service or even just dropping in or calling. As autumn settles in, we are focusing our efforts on delivering even more value to even more members in 2019. Now that’s saying something.
On behalf of the entire Chamber Team, I thank you,
