The Geneva Women’s Assembly is holding a walkout Thursday to protest the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
The “Walkout Against Patriarchy” includes dropping a banner on the Main Street Overpass, demonstrating outside Republican Congressman Tom Reed’s office at 433 Exchange Street, and ending at the Public Safety Building at 255 Exchange Street.
Organizers are urging women to walkout from work, homes, and schools. They also want participants to make noise by banging pots, pans, drums, and horns.
The group’s slogan is “All Together, All The Rage.”
The walkout begins Thursday at 4pm.
