Senator Pam Helming has secured 700-THOUSAND dollars for the Town of Canandaigua for water infrastructure projects. Town Manager Doug Finch gives us some specifics on how the money will be used.
Finch says the funding will help in another part of the town.
Finch says that increase in water pressure will help firefighters in battling fires when they need to tap into fire hydrants. The new water transmission line will also reduce the town’s dependency on Hopewell’s water tank and existing utilities.
