On September 29, State Troopers arrested 20-year old Charles Niles of Weedsport for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, failure to keep right and speeding.
Niles was stopped on State Route 31 in the Town of Brutus for speeding and failing to keep right. He was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests. Niles was transported to the Auburn barracks, where he provided a breath sample of .11.
He was issued uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Brutus Court on October 9.
