The Auburn School District continues to fine tune the largest capital project in its history.
District Superintendent Jeff Pirozzolo said on Tuesday’s Finger Lakes Morning News the plan was pared down from the $65 Million cost estimate in the recent building condition survey in order to satisfy tax requirements.
The school board was to have voted on the proposal last month, but the vote was tabled.
Public forums will be held before the next school board meeting next Tuesday at the high school and on Thursday October 11 at Genesee Elementary School.
The board is expected to vote on the capital plan at its October 23 meeting, with residents casting their votes on January 8.
