On September 29, State Troopers arrested 21-year old Jeb Hopkins of Locke for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, possession of an open container, operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection certificate, moving from the lane unsafely, inadequate exhaust system, excessive window tint, obstructed plates and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Troopers observed a vehicle off the road on State Route 38 in the Town of Locke. Hopkins was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests. He was also found in possession of a glass pipe and a baggie containing marijuana. Hopkins was transported to the Moravia barracks, where he provided a breath sample of .17.
He was issued uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Locke Court on October 17.
