For the third week in a row, the North Eastern Athletic Conference named Keuka College freshman goalkeeper Jessica Pegg (Rochester, N.Y. / Penfield) as their Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Pegg had a strong week in goal for the Wolves, leading Keuka College to three wins. Pegg played 242 shutout minutes for Keuka as the Wolves topped SUNY Poly, Lancaster Bible, and Gallaudet University. The freshman totaled eight saves on the week.
Keuka College has not allowed a goal since September 8. Overall, the Wolves are on a six game shutout winning streak. Pegg has extended her personal shutout streak to 552:26 of game action. She leads the conference in wins and shutouts. Her 0.94 goals against average ranks fourth in the conference and Pegg is second in the NEAC with a .839 save percentage.
The Wolves step out of conference play on Wednesday to host Lycoming College. Keuka College will then host the College of St. Elizabeth on Saturday in a conference game at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
