Just weeks after three debates were agreed upon by Congressman Tom Reed and challenger Tracy Mitrano, the Democrat’s camp continues to spat with the incumbent regarding the debate schedule. Congressman Reed responded to the latest claim from Mitrano that the camps did not agree to the schedule.
In a release to the media announcing the debates on September 13th, the Mitrano campaign’s headline stated “Mitrano Campaign Enthusiastically Accepts Debate Invitations.”
The three debates will all take place within a week and begin October 24th in Jamestown. On October 30th, both candidates will square off in a debate in Corning that will be televised and the final debate will take place November 1st in Olean.
