A Clyde man is facing a slew of charges, in connection with a domestic incident in Montezuma this past June.
53-year-old John Barnes is charged with unlawful imprisonment, reckless endangerment, menacing, weapons possession, and criminal mischief.
Barnes is due back in court Tuesday.
On September 27, 2018, the State Police BCI in Lyons report the arrest of John Barnes, age 53, of Clyde, New York on an Arrest Warrant for one count of Unlawful Imprisonment 1st, Reckless Endangerment 1st, Menacing 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th and three counts of Criminal Mischief 4th. The arrest stems from a domestic incident which occurred in June, 2018. Barnes was arraigned in the town of Montezuma Court before Honorable Judge Heather Tanner who remanded him to Cayuga County Jail on $750.00 cash bail or $1,500.00 bond. Judge Tanner scheduled Barnes to re-appear in the town of Montezuma Court, on 10/02/18 at 4:00 p.m. regarding the case.
