A Geneva man already serving a prison sentence of 40 years to life after being convicted of murder earlier this year now faces more time behind bars after being convicted this week of felony assault.
Willie McKoy, Junior, faces an additional seven years behind bars after being found guilty of assaulting another man while they were inmates at the Ontario County Jail. The victim suffered a broken nose and significant visual impediments.
McKoy was convicted for the December 2017 murder of Pliekou Irvin, Senior, in Geneva.
He will be sentenced on the assault conviction on October 16th.
