The fight over plans for a massive garbage incinerator at the former Seneca Army Depot in Romulus moves into the courtroom later this week.
The town of Romulus and Rochester-based developer Circular enerG are fighting over two Article 78 proceedings in the ongoing lawsuits over the project.
The local environmental group-Seneca Lake Guardian-has enlisted the help of the renowned environmental law firm “Earthjustice” to intervene and assist the town of Romulus.
Seneca Lake Guardian sent out an email yesterday asking opponents of the trash incinerator to attend Friday’s court hearing. It begins at 10am at the Seneca County Courthouse in Waterloo.
