A Geneva man is facing a number of charges, after allegedly displaying a handgun during a disturbance.
State Police say they found a loaded .45 caliber gun next to 20-year-old Ravaughn Robinson.
Robinson allegedly fled the scene, before he was found behind an Exchange Street dumpster and arrested.
Robinson is charged with weapons possession, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, and marijuana possession, and will appear in Geneva City Court on Monday.
Troopers had responded into the city of Geneva to assist the city of Geneva Police Department with a large disturbance, where a handgun was displayed.
Troopers located Robinson hiding behind a wall on Linden Street and a loaded .45 caliber handgun was located secreted on the ground next to Robinson.
Once the gun was located, Robinson fled on foot and troopers and city of Geneva Officers chased after him. Robinson was found hiding in a dumpster on Exchange Street and was taken into custody.
Robinson was processed at SP Canandaigua and remanded to the Ontario County Jail, and he is to appear in Geneva City Court on September 24th.
