DAVID ETTMAN TO APPEAR ON THE DEMOCRATIC AND GREEN LINES FOR THE NOVEMBER 6TH GENERAL ELECTION FOR COUNTY JUDGE.
Following the absentee ballot count by the Seneca County Board of Elections on Thursday, David Ettman maintained his lead and emerged as the candidate for County Judge on the Democratic and Green lines.
“I believe my wins in the Democratic and Green party primaries, as well as the broad support in the other parties, including write-in votes in the Reform party, against two well financed politicians, is a testament to the hard work of my volunteer campaign team.
Though this race is now defined by party lines, we must move beyond traditional party politics in this judicial election. The Seneca County Judge must put the people first and seek justice through fairness and due process. We cannot allow the noise and polarization of party politics to interfere with the fundamental role of the trial courts in this great state.
As the only candidate with over 30 years experience in all roles in Criminal Court, Family Court and Supreme Court, as a judge, a defense attorney, a prosecutor, as well extensive private practice I am confident the voters of Seneca County will view my experience in all of the courts, my dedication and respect for justice as the defining factors to earn their vote for me in the general election on November 6 “
*Statement by Seneca County Judge Candidate Donna Cathy*
“I am proud to have earned wins in three of the four Primary Elections
that I chose to run in. If elected as the Conservative, Independence and
Reform candidate in November, I am committed to serving with integrity,
principles and Seneca County values.
“My campaign made a conscious choice to run only on ballot lines –
Republican, Conservative, Independence and Reform – that aligned with my
values and principles. I chose to respect the Democratic line and leave
it open for a registered Democrat to run. That did not happen. Now my
Democratic supporters, along with supporters from all parties, have the
opportunity to show their support in the General Election.
“I look forward to a spirited race as we head toward the General
Election on November 6th.
“Thank you to all of my supporters who came out to vote in the Primary.
We will need you –and your friends and family- to help deliver a win
in the General Election.”
