Ten groups in Cayuga, Livingston, Monroe and Ontario County have secured grants totaling more than 71-THOUSAND dollars from Preserve New York.
The groups include the Ontario County Historical Society, which will use the 87-HUNDRED dollars they were awarded for a survey of Historic Sites Relating to Women’s Suffrage in Central New York. The Aurora Masonic Center has been earmarked to receive close to 12-THOUSAND dollars to complete a Historic Structure Report for the Scipio Masonic Lodge. The towns of Canandaigua and Manchester also received grants.
Preserve New York is a signature grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts and the Preservation League of New York State.
