There’s more road work this week in the City of Auburn. With the paving of Genesee Street in downtown Auburn now complete, crews have moved west to the stretch from James to Pleasant Streets.
City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News paving is likely to begin overnight.
In addition, there will be milling and paving on a number of residential streets Monday and Tuesday. Rizzo Construction delivered flyers to homes on the affected streets on Saturday, notifying residents of the work and informing them to not park on the street for the milling operations.
We could be on the receiving end of some significant rain from what’s left of Hurricane Florence. The rain could interrupt road work in Auburn.
