In high school girls soccer, Wayne topped Aquinas, 4-1; and Midlakes blanked Red Jacket, 4-0. On the boys’ side, Auburn edged Blessed Virgin Mary, 2-1; Churchville-Chili owned Victor, 2-0; Canandaigua ran by Rush-Henrietta, 2-0; Edison edged Red Jacket, 4-3; Naples and Jasper-Troupsburg played to a 1-1 draw; and Livonia all over Penn Yan, 8-0.
In womens’ college soccer, U of R upset #2 William Smith, 2-1; SUNY Poly blew out Wells, 6-1; FLCC fell to Onondaga, 6-1; and Keuka eked by Morrisville State, 1-0. In mens’ action, Geneseo nipped Hobart, 1-0; Wells dropped one in 2OT to SUNY Poly, 4-3; Onondaga whitewashed FLCC, 4-0; and Morrisville State in OT over Keuka, 1-0.
In field hockey, William Smith knocked off Manhattanville, 3-1; while Wells shutout Lancaster Bible, 4-0.
