Barbara Jean Wren Farmer, age 86, passed away quietly on Aug. 30, 2018.
Barbara (Jean) was a lifetime resident of Penn Yan; over the years she has made several friends at her residence St Marks Terrace. She liked playing cards and other group events. She worked at the Homestead as a Nutritionist for several years. Jean liked to bowl and listen to country music. Her favorite TV program was “Touched by an Angel” and other like programs. All that knew her loved her. She was a one of a kind and will be missed.
Survived by stepdaughter, Rebecca Farmer Bowman (Richard) Irondequoit, N.Y.; Morton Farmer Jr. (Patty) Orem, Utah; Wendie Farmer Thoele (Merle) Twin Falls, Idaho; 14 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 14 great great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Wren Korkow (William) Carlsbad, Calif., brother, Robert Wren (Eva) Heber Citi, Utah; seven nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, Morton Farmer Sr. aged 85; Father Leland Wren (Clara) in Penn Yan N.Y.
