The Skaneateles man involved in a fatal two car accident in March that killed a 25 year old Auburn man pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of vehicular manslaughter and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Stephen Landon also pleaded guilty to a vehicular assault charge.
Investigators say Landon was driving north on Route 34 at Fleming-Scipio Townline Road around 9:30 the night of March 3rd when he crossed the center line, striking a southbound vehicle driven by Travis Manwaring. Manwaring was pronounced dead at the scene. Three passengers in his car, including his fiancee and brother, were seriously injured.
Diane Adsit is the Cayuga County Assistant District Attorney and DWI and Vehicular Crimes Prosecutor.
Landon faces up to 13 years in prison when sentenced in November.
